I suggest you to run the hardware and device troubleshooter and check.

  1. Type “Troubleshoot” without quotes in search and click on Troubleshooting in theresults displayed on the left side of the screen.

  2. In the new window, click Hardware and Sound.

  3. In the list of options, click on Hardware and Devices.

  4. Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions.

I also recommend you to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

  1. Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘properties’.

  2. Nero 11 free download full version. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box 'Run this program in compatibility mode for” and select Windows 8.1 operating system from the drop down.

  3. Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.

Method 1: Run Hardware and Device Troubleshooter.

  1. Press Windows Key + R, type Control Panel.
  2. Type Troubleshooting in the search bar, click on Troubleshooting.
  3. Click on Hardware and Sound, click on Hardware and Devices.
  4. Follow the steps from the wizard to run the Troubleshooter.

If the issue still persist I suggest you to Update the Windows 10 Drivers and check if it help.

Part 2: Interesting..the short cut to Control Panel failed three times. while taking the 'long way' (start, control panel, etc.,) works on the Samsung Ativ (Going W, R gets a message 'Windows cannot find 'Troubleshooting'. Make sure you typed the word correctly, and then try again.' Any ideas yet about how to eliminate the erroneous nom de plume on the start page of the Qosmio X505-Q870?
